Your financial gifts to Lial Catholic School enhance academic programs, allow Lial to attract and retain an excellent faculty, make a Lial education a reality for more families, and maintain and improve our learning environment. When you give to Lial you are partnering with our families and faculty in fulfilling our mission of helping our students develop their unique gifts which they can use in service to others.
Your financial support of Lial can be undesignated to Operations, or designated to Endowment or Tuition Assistance Funds. Your financial support helps to cover the costs of education not met by tuition. Our Board strives to keep tuition affordable so a Lial education is an option for as many families as possible.
Lial Catholic School is a 501c3 and is eligible to receive matching gifts through many employer matching funds. We also welcome In-Kind and Planned Giving Donations. The Falcon Fund is Lial’s annual appeal. Lial does not have a parish so the Falcon Fund is a way for the entire Lial community current and past to support the school. Think of it as our Sunday collection. It is introduced in the Fall and continues until June 30th of the following year. Donations may be undesignated or designated to specific funds such as tuition assistance, endowment, or special initiatives.
Opportunities to Financially Support Lial
The FUNd for All Raffle is a joint fundraising activity between the Advancement Office and the Lial Parent Association (LPA). This raffle helps raise money for tuition assistance for Lial families, as well as operations. The FUNd for All is introduced each Fall.We are seeking raffle sponsors, prize donors, and of course ticket purchasers.
THE BIG EVENT, our premier fundraiser, raises funds for operations as well as specific capital projects. Parents can contribute auction items, purchase event sponsorships, and of course attend the event. Over the past eleven years THE BIG EVENT has raised over $560,000. This money has renovated bathrooms, fixed the roof, improved school security, installed a new heating/cooling system, secured classroom technology, built a playground, as well as provided essential money for operations. Support of this event includes event sponsorship, auction item donations, and event attendees.
