Lial Parent Association (LPA)
Parents at Lial are part of every aspect of our school. Volunteering in the classroom, working on a committee or in the office, coaching a sport or monitoring a club… parents are part of it all!
The LPA has been established to:
Provide a means to organize parent support and interest
Advise the school administration on special projects
Carry through these projects as coordinated through the school principal

Committees
Parent involvement in the various school and LPA committees is very important to the spirit and effectiveness of Lial’s program. There are numerous ways to participate. Forms distributed throughout the year for individual events provide the specifics. Parents are also encouraged to recommend other ways they would like to be of service. Committee meetings are scheduled through the principal. Rooms for meetings may be reserved through the office.
Volunteer Today!
Yes! I’d like to Volunteer! The Toledo Diocese requires all volunteers to complete the Virtus training and receive a background check from Selection.com. Use this Virtus Link to complete the training and background check. We also ask that you fill out the form below so the LPA knows how you would like to get involved.

Occasionally we will ask for donations for a specific purpose (usually supporting our teachers!) We collect money for start up supplies and website memberships on Orientation Day, ask for monetary and gifts to create whole school gift baskets at Christmas, and honor them with a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon in the spring… trust us… they are worth it!
And our biggie…The Greenery and Poinsettia Sale!You will be all ready for Christmas when you place orders in September for some of the most beautiful wreaths and poinsettias around. Evergreen roping, grave crosses and wall hangings are also available. We try to reach our entire fundraising goal with this sale, so we really encourage full participation as well as your help in making it happen!
We also partner with the Advancement Office to bring you the fall FUNd-for-all raffle.The money raised here goes directly to the school for tuition assistance as well as operations. The Advancement Office also raises funds through the Big Event and the Falcon Fund annual appeal.

Extended Day

Extended Day is care provided for students after school from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

- It is an area for reading and doing homework. (Ext. staff are not tutors; students should be able
to work independently.) - There are also supervised indoor and outdoor activities.
- Time to eat snacks. (peanut-free snack)
- Emergency Medical Forms will be kept on-site
- Note: There is no Extended Day service provided on days when school is not in session or
there is an early dismissal, special events, etc.
Rates: Drop in Rates ($10/hour)
$10 Flat Rate: 3:00-4:15
$20 Flat Rate: 3:00-5:30
Package A – 20 hours ($7.50/hr) $150
Package B – 40 hours ($5.00/hr) $200
-Additional hours over 40 may be purchased at the $5 rate.
**Please remember only Extended Day will accept payments
using Venmo.
